don't bid till right at the end, and bid the absolute maximum you're willing to pay. If you win, then you're happy, if you lose, then someone paid more than you were willing to pay. Trying to keep yours as the high bid just makes sure the price is high...

I got the same set off eBay last year.
Even though mine was complete it was well used and not as good as this appears to be.
It'll be interesting to see how much it goes for.

Well it will end up in Bentleigh either way then! :D

Seriously though, I put an early bid on which I don't usually do because I have just started building a house so shouldn't be buying anything anyway. If I loose I loose, happy to see it go to a mini home either way.

Prices are going up finally for the complete sets , I paid $100 for a better condition set a few years ago and couldn't understand why it was so cheap compared to the prices the individual cars go for in the set ...
