Who'll be the first to put a Hyundai on classic plates? Mind you, I couldn't find any gen 1 Excels on eBay - the oldest car was a 1990 S Coupe. Looks like they've all been crushed and sent to China. Speaking of not-so-classic cars on eBay, would you pay $10,000 for a pristine one-owner Datsun 120Y four door sedan?

What is rubbish to some is a classic to others. Japanese cars are starting to get a lot of recognition nowadays and to me the 120Y is a classic. If anything it represents the era when small car popularity shifted from BMC to the Japanese marques. Give me a choice of a Marina or a 120Y to drive to Perth and I'll take the 120Y thankyou. :)
