Just updated this other thread, similar subject. I found the blokes details but they have knocked off for the day so I will call tomorrow and make sure it is the same bloke and that he can still do minis.

I know its not in the area you guys are looking for, StyleRod Panels in Croydon is where my car was repaired and as far as i know are a reccommended Shannons repairer.

I saw the aftermath of the accident on the Asparagus Job which caused the damage, and then the finished repair and I gotta say they did damn good work. Not a cut-it-out-and-weld-a-new-bit-in either, they beat the car straight and did a fine job. Not many places'll do that any more...

Just spoke to Steven Gaut of Melrose Panels, 27 Moore Road, Airport West, 9338 0633. He did the mini pictured in the link above and is happy to do more minis. Don't ask me what that one cost and Steven said he likes to go back to bare metal with bead or soda blasting. Not sure if he meant for full restos or minor repairs but you can discuss that with him if you want. I'm not saying this guy is the only or best in the area but I just know the car my mate had done came up really well and he was keen enough to do it well. I hope this helps.
