Would you rather drive that or a 'Smart' car?

Same but different.

They handle a lot better than you would think. They are stable, but they do have very quick turn in which made me reluctant to try to corner too quickly in case it toppled over.

But bear in mind they are built for shits and giggles, not for high speed cornering

I believe the phrase "go-kart handling" was used... Unfortunately, I was too tall to drive it - 180cm!

I'd love one cut the same but not shortened - trouble is you now have to have roll bars which spoils the look

Dose anyone else notice the "line" of the side pressing below the original window line, after the door the rear angles down 25 odd degrees :?

Also the interesting rear lip off the roof, I'd love to see how that steel/bog work was carried out (same as all the welding done to join the two sections back together) and what type of seats is in it?.

Good observation. I'd say they did that to get the wheelbase as short as possible. The rear seam is probably "steeper" too.

I've seen it at Shannons - the seat is a rear bench - there's no hand brake that I could see at all

gday all,
I went past shannons last night on my way to cadets to have a look at it and how it was done. And i am shocked that shannons are actually selling this! Now i mean no bad feelings to the owner but this thing is rubbish.
1. It is very very rusty
2. the join is terrible and must have no support because it is starting to sag in the middle of the join and the join is very obvious.
3. The Steering wheel is bent and nackered
4. the paint is flaking and peeling
5. the exhaust is holes galore
6. The roof lining is put together very crudly and you can see the join of two roof linings in the centre of the roof
7. the seat is a rear seat used as a bench seat but it is abit old and is showing it.

So in no way am i trying to bag the owner of it. But i am saying buyer BEWARE!!
