would poeple be able to post some pics of the engine bays of minis and mokes that have superchargers on the, would prefer mokes as I am thinking of supercharging one of the mokes I have once I restore it.

What superchargers are the most commen type fitted?

Do people convert to using fuel injection or stick with a carby?

Most people go with a Toyota SC12 SC. '92' on here makes a great kit to fit them. Most people go with a suck through setup using a HIF44.

The reason for the questions is that I may be getting a super of a merc for cheap and I was going to use a 2 inch SU due having a coulpe given to me but I starting to think that the super may be a little big to bolt to the engine

If it is a merc one it is probably an MP62 which is too big. If it is am MP45 off a later C-Class, then it will be ok but Merc ones have a specific casting so the inlet will be unique, in the same way as a MINI one is different from a shop-bought MP45.

In a british mag, I've seen an Eaton M45 (bini blower) mounted on the front of an A series before, and they used the through drive to run the alternator.
Clever setup.
