I just added these to the photo to show the flow in each gear, it helps to get your head around them...

So in 5th gear not only do you have aero drag from the higher speed you also have extra transmission drag. :lol:

Thanks for those pics M1100. I haven't had much to do with gearboxes but I always seem to struggle to picture which gear is which.
