well i ended up spending this afternoon on Gumby instead of uni work
After hours and hours of frustration, bleeding etc, finally figured out where all the fluid went. The big cooper pipe that runs along the rear of the car, had been mashed around the subframe and a hole in it, however couldn't see the fluid that was escaping as it was filling up in the cover plates, and acting like a tray...
With alot of difficulty got it out and around the front subframe and engine compartment by taking the exhaust manifolds off to enable it to swing down, changed it with my one and only spare, replaced the manifolds and got brake pressure again..
Also went around and checked all wheel bearings and ball joints, still good as gold just like when I left for my trip, so no tightening there needed, but all wheels needed brake adjustment of course.. did that on all 4 wheels, adjusted the hand brake again to the 2 clicks, bled the brakes, and whala... nice rock hard, very little travel pedal again...
Also noticed that its spitting oil out the breather more so then it should, mustive happened only recently, and its lost a bit, so will look at that tomorrow as I plan to replace the rockers...
Also the smash has mashed my fuel hose pipe, and we had a slight leak there, so replaced that, and put a new filter in the line while I was at it.
Also happened to notice for some strange reason the clutch master cylinder cap had broken and the top piece had come off, its brand new with the master, so that was frustrating.. never done up tight either, been on there ever since I left QLD, so suddenely its decided to poop itself,, luckily I had a spare of that too.
