A journalist colleague in NZ is doing an article on Australian Police Minis for an NZ motoring magazine and was wondering if there were any cars currently resident in NZ. Anyone know?

Also, Brik_nutz or nuts (i always get it wrong), Damon is his name, he has a build thread about herman is clubbie estate.

66s is also NZ based

Sorry no luck with my searches,

I have never heard or seen a OZ Police Mini here in NZ

There are a few OZ Cooper S about but they are also quite rare over here

I got your PM and will work on it. I have heard of a couple but some time ago. I'll make some enquiries and post back here. Aussie Cooper S's would outnumber UK built versions in Christchurch, more of them seem to be Austins too, strangely .

Will try my contact at MINI NZ. He was also an apprentice at Dominion Motors and right into the Mini scene late 60's early 70's. I don't know of any, apart from a rumour that there were some around Dunedin.
