Hi

Trying to work out how the on/off switch work
with the clubman switch panel.

Does anyone know how it all works, how it
is connected? any pictures be great, we think
mine is broken and hence why someone
put an additional fan switch in.

Thank you

Essentially it is a slide switch that is built in to the cable control mech.

This is the the correct panel for a 1975 model and shows the 'toggle' for the switch in the middle.

I have a loose control cable mech. I'll see if I can dig it out after lunch and get a pic up of it.

PM sent.

ohh that part.. i was trying to think of the switches up top..

the heater part.. I got u now mate.

To my understanding its all on a switch panel, all 3 of them. Sometimes the switch panel rusts up, and you can't get the panels sliding again.. wheather this is your problem or that they don't work at all when you slide it, its most likely a wiring problem.. ie loose connection or no connection. Unless there is another switch somewhere that operates the fan, then this is your only option but to get your head under there and follow wires.

A wiring diagram will be in most mini manuals, if you need it.

the switch panel looks like this.. I'll see if I can find a closer up pic of them, but there are 2 of them in the bottom right of that picture..

this may help better mate.. you can now see how they work basically with the slide switch the GT Mowog is talking about and the white panel on the end of it acting as the switch as such I believe.... i have a spare if you need it.. your welcome to it  Means you'll have to have another date with me at uni though to get it
