Hey everyone,
So I have finished my new door cards off and am moving onto the dash.
I have found some gauges that I really like but I can't justify the cost (close to 1k delivered !!!). I wanted to know what people have or have seen that they like.

Also, Has anyone used these buttons?

I am thinking about ordering some. They look sweet.
The only thing I don't like is that you would need to have a park switch and then a headlight switch. that is a bit annoying but more shiny switches the better i guess? :)

Those are Savage buttons. I tried to source some years ago but couldn't find anyone that would ship them out of the UK for me, and at the time they were a good $50 each landed here.

Floss, let me know if you find some and want to order, I might be persuaded to get some myself and help you out on postage?

Those switches are damm sexy!

You would need one switch for Parkers and another for Headlights. Not sure how you would do self parking wipers (with a relay would be an option) and two speed wipers would just about be out of the question. Guess you'd have to go to column wipers.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input.
I asked the guy about them on tmf ages ago and he wanted to know if I would buy a bunch to sell in oz. If others want some I can see if we can do a group buy. I haven't spoken to the guy in a few years so who knows :)

GT MOWOG
I have a rover column in with 2 speed wipers on the column so I am all good to go with that :)

I don't have any constructive good gauges to suggest, but I don't like those 'old tyme' ones that belong in a steam car.

I'm going to be putting a set of dakota digital gauges in my next mini (at this point in time anyway  not these ones though)

Only $795US + postage

I quite like these ones, described as anti-vandal switches:

Available from here, US$16-ish. Probably available closer to home.

The downside is no icon on the switch, but you could acid etch your own switch panel, something I plan to do once I finish the paint, engineering etc.

This is the type of switch i reckon we're talking about... http://australia.rs-online.com/web/sear ... R=6932127#

However, what i came across before what the order sheet for selecting the various emblems you can have engraved into the button. I'm not sure why i can't find it now. :?

Anyhow, i bought one of these as a start button. http://australia.rs-online.com/web/sear ... &R=6903463
It's not cheap but is made in France and feels super nice to press. You can feel the difference in quality to the cheaper ones.
