Hello all,

What is the best way to re do your interior like door cards and dash etc?

Should a find a cheap upholsterer or buy a kit??

I did all of my interior myself. But from what you are saying, if you have no idea then upholsterer seems like your only choice?

It's not rocket science, can be done easily. Some stuff can be bought as kits. Many things can be done witha quick visit to Bunnings and Clarke Rubber.

We're having a "work on minis" day either this Sunday afternoon or Monday night. If you want to pop by I can show you what I've done, give you a few ideas?

The only kits I know of come from the UK and don't fit our cars, although I seem to recall someone saying Newton Commercial do Ozzy stuff, might be worth checking there. A local trimmer usually doesn't cost that much, try them.

Ive got a UK kit and while yes it doesnt fit, you can just pull the vinyl and reattach to your own made backing boards. Forget about the carpet tho.

I was referring to stuff like pocket liners, door pocket inserts and dash cars. The rest like rear parcel shelf, door cards etc can be done on the cheap with a bit of sewing (it depends on your desired level of originality of course).

There is a good upholsterer in North Parramatta where I got mine done, reasonable prices, great quality. Buddy Motor trimming is the name of the company.

Pretty sure I posted picks somwhere on here of the work he did for me.

Pay the dosh and get it done properly. You'll be so happy that you did down the track.
