Hi,
I'm trying to find out who the manufacturer is of my wheels.
The outer edge is polished bright.
Any ideas?
It seems a bit different than the standard Minilite.

Thanks.

The manufacturer is ROH.

The wheel is called Contesta and also Contessa, depending on where you look. I *think* that they were also marketed in the 1980s under the brand name Cheviot.

These are a popular aftermarket Mini wheel, but are no longer available new.

They were standard fitment on the Mini SS, and a slightly different version was standard on the Mini LS 998 (different offset).

EDIT: Just noticed that you're in the States.
It might be worth adding that these are Australian-made wheels, so while they are popular down here they are probably somewhat rarer in the northern hemisphere.

I have some with ROH clearly marked on the inside and some without, so I think there may have been no name copys out there too. As others have said they were/are pretty popular here in Oz and seen with different offsets.

These are the LS offset wheels. Same width as yours but they fit under the arches without the need for flairs.

I've got a set on my van with the ROH factory centrecaps with red lettering. They're a reasonable wheel but the spokes are fatter than the more usual Minilite style.

My Rover has a set of 14 x 6 GB alloys made by BWA Racing ( Benzoni Wheels Accessories - Milano, Italy) who also produced them in 10x6 for Minis during the 1980s. These had fatter spokes than Minilites but not nearly as wide as the Contessas. They are also very light with hollow spokes. Minispeed last stocked them.
