Had a whole day on JAM today :D (very rare these days)

Since the motor is off being machined, I did a lot of small things....finished fitting out the interior (except belts....picking up from Davo this weekend  ), installed pedals, fitted out some of the engine bay bits....

I am trying to picture a motor in the bay...thinking of colour....very hard decision. I am leaning towards BLACK or matching RED....silver is a close third. This is the stuff I will use...

yea, I am liking that T-Bird RED....but it might be too much red. Black is a good contrast 8)

The wiper motor (and steering column, ignition switch, seat frames and mounts) were painted with VHT Wrinkle Plus http://www.speco.com.au/vht_special.html Damn good stuff!!!! and looks awesome!

EDIT: Decided today to NOT run a heater....I hate how the clubby heater sits inside the cabin....takes too much room, looks ugly, etc.... Anyone else run a Clubby without heater?

That engine bay looks heaps cool.
I'd do the engine silver. Have all cables and hoses black, red ignition leads chrome rocker cover.
Alternately, go entirely black, with red highlight features like your interior.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
How can you LIKE braided hoses and not like a smoothed boot lid.
Braided hoses are so rice and usually look tackier than... than... something that is really tacky :?: :? !

Hey Anton you and I are in the same boat. I can't decide what to paint mine either! I am thinking that red is just too much.

I like the idea of english mini engine green block and head and the rest silver, but it's been done 100 times before. I was also thinking red block and head with rest silver but that's also been done 1000 times...

I think it will have to be all silver engine or something different... not sure. I am leaning towards red block, silver rest theme though.

Where do you buy POR15 from?? I need to get some once I have decided.

Red distributor coil, leads, caps (radiator, rocker cover).
Anodised would look really cool, if you can get it done.

Anton, black engine might be too plain. But then again it will look good with your interior the way it is. I dunno...

I've been pondering over this one for many weeks now, no decisions made yet... :(
