Hi guys,

Which loom do I need for my 62 850? I cannot remember if it has parcel shelf lights? Did all the Aussie 62 CKD's have these? I am getting it from Vinwire.

1962-63 MINI 850 HAS PARCEL SHELF LIGHTS MN623/1 498 547
1962-63 MINI 850;NO TEMP OR PARCEL SHELF LIGHTS MN623/2 498 547
1962-63 MINI 850cc MAIN [FOR PRICING ONLY] MN623M 467 513

Thanks :)

Only a few of the early 61 850s had the parcel shelf lights, tho I cant see any harm in having them in a later model 850. As for temp gauge option, 850s never had a temp gauge so I guess that loom has a green/blue wire added just in case you would like to fit a temp gauge.

I've bought one of their Mk2 Cooper 'S' harnesses for my Austin 850 (I chose this one as it best fits the changes that I've made to my car i.e. alternator, electric fuel pump etc.). It was about 99 pounds about 3 years ago. The quality seems very good.

I've bought 2 997 Cooper wiring looms from Minisport UK.
Very good quality and price. Will even customise the braiding to provide the correct colour flecks.
