Just trying to get an idea of the amount of Mini K's about people, if you could just fill it out, a bit like a survey, just for interests sake!

Mines a 71 mini K, and its features are listed below:

~ Rear window demistor (smiths)
~ Remote shift 4 sync (ive been told some K's came out pudding style)
~ Lumination Electronic Ignition (from factory says the reciept)
~ Clubman style heater
~ Bad Paint

Original Rego: KUU-272 (Victorian)

just bought a 12/70 k shell, with engine and box etc. needs mucho work, but hopefully it will be worth it. most of the stuff seems to be there, but I am missing the clubman doors and the interior. it is red (mainly) and has small amounts of rust in the footwells - as usual. I am hoping to restore it to standard, so may be asking lots of questions soon about what goes where
Was told the clubman door k was quite rare - is that so?

cheers!

more like 400 of them with lift up door handles.... I had 3 K's, none with lift up door handles. The first one was when I was 12, it was yellow, vic rego KVM 206, no idea where it is now. Second one was taken away as a pretty stuffed bare shell last year by a guy who said he's bring me some cash $&#!er never showed    third one was bought to reshell the second one, I sold it to another guy and it ended up getting crushed :(

I've got a K van - see my website. 11/1970 and no Clubby doors. Although I have seen two K vans with Clubby doors.

As I understand it 400 COOPER S were produced with Clubby doors. Mini K's with Clubby doors are rare, but the number made must be well over 1000. Remember they were made like that for 12-18months.

Hubbie has a 1970 Mini K Van - totally original. Some sort of light green.

Bought from a deceased estate in Morwell. Very little mileage.

Unfortunately he won't let me at it! I wonder why?

71 Mini 'K'

Not much point in listing specs as car is so bastardised and so far removed from original that it's barely a 'K' anymore!!!

But it's a roundnose with lift up door handles which i like. :)

mine, so far as ive been told is a 68-69 .. she was BRG or some shade of dark green.
old style doors, no interior, just a bare shell and doors, plus a moustache...
shes been laying on that matress for at least the last 2 years i think in a basement in inner city brisbane...this pic her first bit of sunlight in ages...
tracked down the motor that was in it from a previous owner. but its a 998 ?????????? I thought they only came with 1100's ??

well i have no idea LOL the previous owner thought it was either 68 or 69 (thats what i was trying to say (i take to many shortcuts in messages) and i dont know if what i was told regarding its vintage is any good either... it does have the recess around the wipers though, same as the clubby. Is this something specific to the K??, my deluxe doesn't have it. .. if not ,what is the difference in bodies if any??..

In a nutshell, what are the `advantages' of a k with clubby doors over a deluxe, if any?
