can anyone tell me if the 7.5" brake pistons will fit the 7" Lockheed calipers? I know the 7" ones are 1.618". Also has anyone got any figure approximately of how much it would be to get some made up in stainless steel?

No they are different to 7.5s- smaller and lots shorter..
I think you can still buy them new, I bought 4 SS ones 12 months ago.

Karcraft still lists them- p/no is 1030241. $20 ea approx.

That is 1 piston only. You need 4 in total.
Caliper kit per side (for 2 pistons) is 8G8587L/3, $6 approx. You need 2 kits.
You also need the bridge seal between the 2 caliper halves, it's not listed so ask them. Not included in the kits.
