I finally got a hold of Express Publications aka Hot 4's editior yesterday, as i still havnt heard any word on when the feature on my car is coming out. The photo shoot was August last year!!! Anyways, turns out the article was being written up for it and it should make it into the next issue, BUT they are 3 issues ahead with there printing and design, so it wont make the stands for about another 3-4 months.....!

As soon as it does though, ill let ya's all know!!

my shoot was a couple of weeks ago and they told me about 3 months for mine too, may put them in the same issue??

Well well well!!! True deal... Tony Rabbitte did my shoot, who did yours. Sounds like they may do issue with all the Minis in it, that would make 3 minis in 1 Hot 4's issue then. I doubt thats even been done b4??? Kewl...

I was on a hot 4's cruise over a month ago and Merlin didnt get photographed AT ALL, mind you every f*cking skyline and commodore was!

Now, in MY opinion, wouldnt a mini be more suited to a HOT 4's magazine feature? Dont these other cars have 2 too many cylinders?

I dont know if it is a good or a bad thing having 2 minis in the same edition. I mean..... no mini's for AGES, then 2 in one issue, then none for a year again.

They would sell more mags if they split em up, dont you think???


Thats what I noticed about Hot4's magazine, they like to have a theme for each magazine. WAAAAAAY back when my Mazda was featured in Hot4's, the same edition had about 6 other cars from Adelaide. We all knew each other. Basically, it became "our" edition. But there were practically NO South Australian cars in the magazines before or after that one.

None, none, none, 7 of us, none, none, none.......

I dunno if thats a good or a bad thing.

Only problem is the majority of tossers who buy and read the mag r only interested in new crap with an air filter and noisy muffler. Most readers will probably flick straight past the Mini features.
