They definitely were M1100 bags, but maybe it was a different car.
They were mounted vertically inboard to the top arm, similar to coilovers on modern racecars so maybe it wasn't a Cooper.

New hydro bags are NLA but there are plenty of S/H standard bags about, if you ask nice.
Hoses can be replaced if they blow,
Mini King can get new steel pipes.

My 1970 `matic still has the original rear bags and pipes... and no leaks (touches wood).
Front bags are 1971 GT, they came with the subby and motor... 8)

I'm looking at buying a hydro Clubman. Have only ever had rubber cones (on the Moke and a previous Clubman) so hydro is all a bit new to me. The car I'm looking has lived in a shed for years and years, so whether the bags are still usable is yet to be determined.

I've never seen a 'blown' or wrecked bag, but I'm sure it's happened. All that usually goes wrong with them is the hoses rust off where they are crimped on to the op of the bag. These can be repaired. The most common hydro problem I've seen with the hydro system itself is the steel lines rusting out. Tube is available new by the bucket load.

Yeah thanks, that's not the one I saw on MM forum. That one had 4 M1100 bags, but not interconnected...

Like I said before, it was an open wheeler, but maybe not a real Cooper....
I'll see if I can find the pic but the search function on MM forum sucks recently, pages past #5 scroll into oblivion.
[edit] I didn't search back far enough it seems... was last year.

I put a post up on MM forum and Scargo found it for me.
Here's the whole thread (read it from bottom up if you are not logged in there).
