If wallygog is glad he/she missed Hay on this basis, then I have to wonder if he/she really has any idea what Hay is about. If he/she has been to Hay before then I guess he/she missed the point. If he/she has not been to Hay, then perhaps his/her opinion is mute.

yes i know what hay is about.. mini's
yes i have been to hay many times.
and if i hadn't been before why would my opinion be mute? even blind Freddy can tell that the decision to let non mini's compete at the MINI nationals is plain dumb.
whats the difference between letting a Mazda run in the motorkhana and the show and shine? should they have there own non mini trophy for the best non mini in show. how about a non mini parade??
same same.

MCSA is extremely graceful just in letting nons run against the minis, i think considering the title of the event the final results should only include minis and direct variants. The nons could have there own results within themselves.

Corrine is a great driver and consistantly drives well and deserves credit for it, but not a trophy intended for minis im sorry.

As i have said before, if you went to the ford nationals in a holden you wouldn't even get in the gate. The nons should be giving thanks to MCSA just being allowed to run.

I think the 121 should have had it's headlights checked after winning. Well it worked for the French in 1966 at Monte Carlo, didn't it?
