I have just found 2 main bearing caps, both have N275 stamped into them,
Could I assume they are for a 1275?

Measure across their bore, if over 2-1/8" yeah they probably are.

the number stamped on them "Usually" ties in with the 3rd main cap &&& the block that they came off will (or should) have the same number stamped into it near/rear of the water-pump area
