I have a std 850 with a top speed of 90km (I lucky to have a speedo in km and miles) any more and i afraid she will die, not even enough to blow the cobwebs off!! :(

when mine hits 110km/h it starts shaking so thats as fast as mines been i think it could be cause i got retreads on the back and there old and falling apart :)

Hey, I have no doubt it'll be a bloody fast 1100 when it is finished, probably faster than mine :( but while it is in the garage, under it's own power, it's not very quick at all.
You should cart it down to a drag strip and go for a drive. 8)

get the full on shakes at bout 120, but it will go to about 85 miles, and i dont really know if theres any left,

hmm

well i could go and have a try on my 'Winding out" Straight in the bush close by :)

But no im over that

So i say 135 is my max, but id like to try for more?

A few years back I was racing a friend's 1600 Capri in the Perth hills.
I had dusted him off & was doing 160+ kph when a nice red Cooper S who saw the fun and decided to join in blew past me doing at least 180kph!

Have had the Moke up to 120kph and still had more to go but then there was no more road to go..... :shock:
