You can always try clutch starting like Dr Mini's missus and I did to get Barney going.

All you need is a reasonable downhill slope and someone to push :lol:

If you alternator is working then just take it for a good long drive to charge up the battery

found the problem - was the earth in the boot - just gave it a clean - caustic soda trick, charged the battery overnight and vroom first turn :D

It is verdigris mate and it is eating away at all metal parts including your terminals...take the battery out and clean it up as previously advised....clean the bottom of the battery box if it has white stuff (take out the drain plugs first)

For the terminals, carefully dip the white powdered ones in the boiling hot solution (steal one of your mums small sauce pans :!: :shock: )

It is good to see bright shiney metal on the terminals, so buy a wire brush Battery Terminal cleaning thinggy from Supercheap ....

then coat the tightened terminals with Si grease or Vas to prevent re-occurrance of white stuff..... 8)
