I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how many of the so called "ricers" actually respect the Mini's. I know when we go to shows like Autosalon and Custom shows they always come over and have a look and you can hear them talking about the car in a positive way.

I guess if it's modified in the same sort of ways as their cars it can be as good if not better than some of those more common cars that they show.

Ever noticed that most of the hot4's/fast4's cover cars these days are never driven on the road??

And I mean NEVER driven on the road....

What ever happened to the days of modified daily drivers??? I remember a cover that had an FJ20T powered Datsun 120Y.... you wont see something like THAT on the front cover anymore.....

I havnt driven my car in at least 12 weeks, bear in mind ive had a broken leg for 6 weeks. I dont see a problem with that at all. Driving the car only makes it deteriate quicker. When i drive the car every now and then it makes it a lot more enjoyable, when u drive your car every day, the novelty of it wears off. Spending $8000 on paint and panel i also want to ensure that my car dosnt get damaged. So the less i drive the less chance of getting stone chips and what not. Now can u understand????

I can't speak for you or anyone else for that matter, but I don't get sick of driving my mini everyday..certainly ain't a novelty!

Both Twincammini and I have $$$ Paint jobs, If you spend all that money why should you leave it in your garage just for someone else to enjoy years down the track?

I think you want to ensure your car doesn't get damaged cause you ain't got no insurance haha

It’s a car. That’s all it is. Like josh said we drive our cars every day and we don’t get sick of it. If something when I get into a car that’s not a mini I get sick.

Yea I worried about my paint too. I spent a lot of time and money on it. But what can you do. Worrying about it ant going to help you. If it gets scratched don’t cry about it. Fix it.
And making it last longer. You know you can actually kill a motor quicker if you don’t drive it often?

Think about it. If you only drive your car say every two weeks where is all the oil that is around the motor like when its driven every day? Its going to be dry of oil when you first start up.
:? :?
