Thanks Morris, appreciated. Assume not much difference between an English 970S and an OZ Mk.2 S

Interesting, just registered my 1970 Mink K and Vic Roads have it listed at 850kg...

Thought it would have been the same as an S ?

The correct official UK factory weights were 640 kG for Cooper S on Dry Suspension and 698 kG on Hydro.

I don't think any mini model (even the Rovers) was that heavy!

Maybe they looked at the name on the boot and got it confused with another car? Morris Mini 1100 vs Morris 1100.

Registration weight for a Morris 1100 in NSW is 810kg.

If they have the weight wrong you should look into it. The rego costs are based on weight. Both my Minis (Cooper S and 1275LS were registered at 680kg.

My van was listed as 920KG on the rego papers. Anyone know what the actual weight is?
