Hiya,

I bought these for mine. They look the goods!!! We had to grind a fair bit off of the chrome finishing bits (or whatever thay're called   !) on the flat side to make them fit right, but i was told that when i bought them. And they fit perfect now!

Having said that...........me thinks my wiper motor might be a dud, so i havent been able to give the new shiny bits a go yet  !

Yes you can, from Minispares UK...
My Tex ones needed rubbers replaced, they are held in with no clips and I can't see how to replace them. :x The rubbers' ends are moulded.

So, I got some Chinese made plastic blades from Karcraft. Cheap as chips and work fine, but are not Bling.

I am looking at new ones too, but i am confused as to which ones will suit my car.. :?
The minisport AUS ones say they suit from 68- on
will these ones from minispares fit my 64??
http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx? ... 248&title=
They say suit RHD MK1 that have RH park.
Thats right isn"t it???

Those should be right for early cars that were RH park. Same wiper setup.

But their LH park ones don't suit later Oz cars 1968> unless you rebend the end of the arm. The UK spindles are in a different spot to ours.

Something doesn't seem right with that first mentioned kit. The 68 onwards aussie cars had the wiper bases recessed into the scuttle panel: the chrome bit shown looks like an english / 850 one which is a different angle.
:?

I don't really need the kit, just a good set of wiper arms and blades for 68> as mine are badly worn. Doc do I need to bend the tex wiper arms as well?

I had to bend my Tex arms (from UK) to fit my `70 Mini.
But once done, you can fit aussie blades on if you want.

[edit] by arm I mean the bit attached to the spindle.
Blade is the whole top bit, with the rubber in it.
