Lately while poking my head around the minis i have noticed HYA on different parts. The 850 has it writtten on the internal door locks, front cooper s bumper has it on the inside written in niko pen, rubber floor matt has it aswell. What does it mean?

Hi
HYA followed by a number is the prefix for the Part Number of the item.

Thanks

Ian :)

The Y in the part number prefix indicates it is an Australian part.

HYA, HYB, HYC, HYD HYE Part number Number Prefixes Were used on Australian Sourced or Produced Parts

Although I think in recent Years The Brits have used some of these
