Painting doors, four of them 'cause it's an estate and they're black on the inside, yellow on the outside so I didn't get time to spray the clearcoat.

Took the Black S on a run around the Atherton Tablelands, first up the Kuranda Range to Mareeba, then to Tinaroo Dam then on to Lake Eacham for lunch.

Home via the Cathedral Fig Tree (absolutely awesome, over 500 yrs old and 5 stories high) and the Gillies Range. Gave Rick a hand to adjust the front ride height on Roo for his "One Lap of Oz". Good day all round and the car performed perfectly :D

Assembled the front hubs, front brakes etc onto the project cars front subframe.
Looked at the freshly painted body and still too afraid to start assembly cause I might scratch it :?

Not necessarily today but my ongoing preparation to store projects under the house out of the weather (and sight of SWMBO)

Use the Hammer Drill as a Jackhammer to
Dig out the dirt - the orange line is 2.5x3 m plenty of room for a mini/moke

Then fill in the access - also room to store a couple of Minis'

Prepping the Mini-K box for fitment to the 1365 stroker, I found the idler endfloat (with the standard gasket and .133 thrust washers) to be .030"
I have about 200 thrust washers, but there ain't much of a range in them.

Soooooooo, the flywheel housing is on the mill, getting a .024" haircut. :P

Started the day cleaning subframe parts. When that was finished the blaster called to say subframe was ready, so went and picked it up, then threw a coat of paint on subframe and other bits. Also threw new hydro lines in. Now for beer, rubgy, hankypanky and sleep, in that order and i've started. Guess where i'm up too?
