the old 1300 is a pain even on super.. pathetic trying to take it up to toowoomba LOL she just loves the range.. NOT....
the mini is very suited to 4x4 conversion by design..
great angle of entry and exit (little overhang on front or rear wheels)
light weight
short wheelbase
narrow, but not top heavy..

final plan is gloss black with red stripe ..AKA redback spider.

BTW plates are on the firewall easily removed though.....stuck on.

Chassis number takes preferance. The body number on a Mini is the chassis number, as it's the chassis, but wack a chassis under and I recon it's whatever the chassis is.

Yep number is on the chassis rail. In driver's side front wheel arch. Can't remember if it's behind or in front of axle but it's usually a bugger to find as the chassis is caked with sh1t!!!
