Hi all

I am looking at getting a set of 7.5 discs - full drum to disc conversion - from the UK (Inc. cv's etc). Does anyone know what these weigh?

Cheers Bryan

I can,t remember the total weight when I brought the same over , its at least 17kg,s plus , just remember to label/ declare them as " reproduction parts for a vehicle over 30 years old " and you don,t pay duty over $1000 only admin/ paperwork fee,s , I paid $189 in admin/ paperwork, total including shipping and fees $1440 2 years ago

( warning : to people reading that , its not a free for all , stick to the rules as set down by Customs )

There was another thread where I explained everything clearly but it was deleted for no reason

Can you post a link to this for me, or PM it please?

I was looking for just this the other day, and couldn't find complete sets - only new discs for existing sets.

Would be very much appreciated, thanks! (or anyone else who knows who sells it in the UK)

Have Karcraft got none in stock? They list the full Drum to Cooper S Disc conversion for $1100.
Postage will be 127 GBP from Minispares so all in cost is very very close.

Sorry to highjack, but can anyone advise the advantage of this kit over the one above? are you that much better off with those calipers?

My spies in the Mini trade tell me some (chinese) swivel hubs are weak around the caliper mounting lug.. so have a good squiz before buying.

I purchased this kit about 2 months ago. Cost me $700 plus $200 freight there abouts. $900 AUS to my door. The AUS dollar has weakened a bit since then but you should still get it for under $1000. As mine was under $1000, no import duty or GST.
