The Van has one of these in the back -

I have NFI where the battery is in a moke, so I don't know if it will fit, but it keeps mine from wandering around in the back. Theres a plastic bracket the strap goes through that bolts / screws into the floor.

After Gareth_1330's just rebuilt & restored van caught fire and burned to the ground, IMO a nice battery box like that is the only safe option, in a van.

Better than nothing smartarse!

Why don't you put a proper battery clamp in there like it should have?
It's basically just a lump of angle with some holes in it

Come up here and get it if you want... (i dont have time to drop it down i leave next week for holiday)

so it needs:

Touch up spray job
Passenger side CV replaced
little rubber flares made for the front
another wheel alignment
some attention to the rear subframe mounting points
something to strap the battery down (daisy chain of zip ties is not sufficient Adam...)

I think thats about it...

Maybe a quick tune/time

Just leave the keys under the bonnet and fill the tank right up, I will be up sometime next week.

I bought my mini a welder today! If I can't trust a panel beater then it's up to me to fix her.... Can't be too hard to weld can it?

In the words of Jeramy Clarkson, "What could possibly go wrong?"

I removed the radiator, finished off the dashboard, Got the Blinkers working!

And gave it a wash!

12 months rego!

Only took 2 years since buying her.

The guy at vicroads didnt like the fact I had a woodgrain steering wheel though. Said it is unroadworthy. Dont know if he is technically correct or not but my signed roadworthy certificate was enough to get my plates so I was happy.
