We are in Batemans Bay, NSW, on the Canberra tomorrow, then the run to Toowoomba and Caloundra to finish Nov. 20th.

Minis have gone very well. Last oil/filter change in Melbourne and a clutch adjust on the Van - otherwise steady as she goes.

www.MiniAdventureAustralia.com will be fully updated after I return to Brisbane.

Too late to tell you now but watch out on the Kings Highway especially on a weekend. This time of year half of Canberra heads for the coast every weekend making the Kings Highway the most dangerous road in NSW.

Be careful of Canberra drivers. They are a special breed.

Hi Rick, great to hear all is going well. This is a good test for my Electronic Ignition kits. Take care and we hope to see you when you are back in Brisbane.

Had the pleasure of meeting John at Marques in the Park in Canberra on Sunday. Lovely chap and easy to talk to.

All the best on your homeward leg of your fantastic trip.

Steve

It is the rule about random lane changing that confuses most foreigners. The one that says "You must change lanes at least twice between every set of traffic lights" :lol:

Some times I struggle, but I always try to stick to this.

It becomes hard when the lights are so close together!

We brought the Minis to the Ettamogah Pub in Palmview (near Caloundra) this afternoon safe and sound...with an escort from Sunshine Coast Group members (MOCQ) for the last run from Esk to the coast.

A little drama on Friday as ROO lost the right front inner wheel bearing at 100 km/h on the Gore Hwy. Roadside repair saw new bearings and CV installed. Saturday am I cleaned up the steering arm bolt hole threads and with 2 new Grade 8 bolts all was good!

Will try to get some useful data up soon (get back to Canada Dec. 6 after NZ and Honolulu).

It was a great adventure with now very good friends, met many terrific people, saw a lot but not nearly enough of Australia...must return!

* there is unfinished business
