Guys i have an issue with my push starter button next to the gear stick ,for the life of me i cant seem to remove it, spent a few hours trying to get it off the car with no joy.
There is a nut underneath the cup is this nut part of the cup or is it seperate... any clues dont want to have to saw it off, hard to come by as we all know.... :?: :?: :?:

The nut is welded to the cup so they are all one piece. The whole thing is only two pieces (unless you count the rubber dust cap which most cars seem to be missing!), the nut/cup and the switch assembly which has a threaded neck and the plunger running through the middle. Then just the two battery cable connections on the bottom. If it's been on the car for a while there might be some moisture that has crept up from underneath and has rusted the thread a bit?
