pulled the inlet & exhaust manifold off to replace a leaking gasket. now she's running like a dog. Didn't have a chance to see whats wrong. that will be tomorrow

Started fabbing the seat mounts for the Rover Metro seats going into the estate. Opened a new pack of 0.8mm cutting discs, yum yum - but treated them with caution... then tried to work out how to avoid the channels pressed into the floor pan (incompressible air gaps are to be avoided if I want the engineer to sign it off).

No, I got a rear window heater kit of ebay and stuck it over the original heater. A bit fiddly to fit but should work OK.

looked at him, said sorry for snapping a head stud... and went back inside...

Will tend to his snapped stud in the morning, along with a CV inspection, with intent of new CV and bearing for passenger side.

I just wanna drive :(

Matt Quirk, master is Head Stud Removal.

That's 2 out of 3 head's i've seen you snap a stud on so far :P

Maybe time to get your torque wrench's calibration checked- some of the cheapo ones are miles out. Ask Aaron... :lol:
