For all you people with a Mini carrying trailer, how wide is it (outer guard to outer guard)?

I am looking at a place that has only a side drive 2200mm wide. This is fine to get the Mini down, but a trailer may be an issue.

cheers
michael

My trailer doesn't live with me, but if I'm at my parents tomorrow I'll get the tape measure out.

Mine is 2.1m, would be a tight fit, but possible.

Got my old man to measure it up. A rough measurement of 2.3m (it's got half a panelvan and other junk sitting on it at the moment).

Mine is a little generous for a Mini. Could be made smaller. You want to get the details of doogie's trailer if you want something that is as small as you can get.

I have a 2.4 wide caravan and gates with 2.5m clearance. It's a right royal pain in the ass getting the van in or out. :x

Trailer wise , 2.5 would be your maximum width .

I knew a guy ages ago in the Cortina club, his trailer wheels were under the tray. It was twin axle with 10" mini wheels, the 'mudguards' were about 100 mm bump in the floor.
His tray was only about 150mm wider than his Mk2 Cortina.
