Starting to get all the engine bits together for my traveller and decided not to put the original 850 back in. I will get it recoed at some stage but will put an A+ engine in for the moment.

These are the measurements the engine dude gave me...means nothing to me

B/E 1 3/4
M 2000"

Stroke 81.28
Bore o/size .111"

Being a 1275 if I add the .111 makes it roughly a 1380..is that right?

Bore is probably actually +.114" = it's a 1380.

+.040 = 1310

no, :( :( had to sell it.. I am using the classic a lot more, and had to buy a car trailer, and had nothing to tow it with :-(

The parents got sick of me borrowing their 4x4..
SO got a BMW X1 M Sport 23d.
I kept my JCW seats!!!! I have a plan!

I'd say Big End's, and Main's. Crank size......

it`s meant to be the big-end size on the crank journal is 1"&3/4 (an inch & three quarters) in diameter

& the Main journal size is meant to be 2" (two inches) in diameter (not 2000" because that would be two thousand inches & would be a little large to fit inside a mini block :-) )

& if that were all true then it would make it a std crank (un-ground)

.040" oversize is 1310cc

.60 would be pretty damn big,,, 600 thou really is too big :-)

the Doc has got it right, makes it pretty-well 1380 with that std crank

Thanks for the replies, so I have a stage 3 tuning kit from minisport to bolt onto it and a spare metro turbo gearbox. This is the block from my other thread with the 296 scatter pattern cam in it. Should make the traveller a bit of a sleeper! Have the full 7.5 disc setup to convert from drums too. Getting very excited, just waiting on the bloody painter to call and say come on down.
