When I first installed my extractors and RC40 I experienced the same issue. I got my sound proofing from truefit carpets at the same time as my carpets and I also painted the floor with Deadening paint which I got from supercheap.

I made a heap of difference. The car still sounds good but not as loud. :D

80DB does permanate hearing dammage
oh and with mine when ever i get over 3000rpm it is like a bloody jet engine damn sounds good on the out side all Import like. sounds pretty nice.

getting the muffler cut off :cry:
it is ti loud, to low (scrapes) and i am losing to much back presure :cry:
oh well get the old 2" back on tomorrow..
But the pluss side i get the rubber put on my rims tomorrow!!!! :D :D :D :D
