Looking forward to seeing the car in the 'flesh' on the Rylstone Classic Danny. I'm sure there will be some Sydney-siders who can assist with any major problems over the coming week.

Hi everyone
last time i posted i was in Canberra. since then I've done a few things and have moved to perth. I studied Nursing and am working in mental health, (so i can look after you guys when you start losing your mind)
I've got a 1970 roundie, which at the moment is sitting in storage till i get my own house.
It's good to see a lot of the old names are still here and i hope to have a heap of fun in the future.
regards
Andy :D

Hi everyone

Im Matty (most forums im known as Matty T), from Adelaide

Couple of weekends back i bought myself a 67 Morris Deluxe off a mate from Army Reserves........hasnt been started / driven / moved since 1996. Goin to be a bit of a project to get up and going and use as a daily driver (for now) then fix the bigger things up (bodywork and such) properly later down the track

Ive come from a left field background i spose to end up here. 3x R31 Skylines in various states of repair / driveability on and off the track, now have an R32 GTR that is my track day only car (made sure i didnt comply it so i wouldnt street drive it and lose my licence lol), and my current daily and tow car is a GQ Patrol turbo diesel (of course, couldnt help but to tinker with that, lift, 33s, exhaust, up the boost etc etc).

Thought it couldnt hurt to join, plus be good to meet more car people, especially if they've got tricks and tips for a car that is way older than me LOL

Hi Everyone,

My name is Rohin. I have been wanting a mini for 18 odd years now and am still to get one.

Ideally I would like to buy a clean roundie shell by end of this year and go from there.

I like Matty also own an R32 GTR (over 8 years now), but am wanting somehting I can do more work on myself (hopefully the Mini fullfills this criteria).

Anyway I will be hanging around these forums!!

Hi!

My name is Richard and I'm from Hamilton Hill, Perth. Myself and my fiance have been in Oz for nearly 2 years (we are poms!) and started off as back packers and now have ended up staying here longer as I have been sponsored by my employer (I'm a panel beater).
These past few weeks I have managed to get myself a Clubman as I had to sell my one back home to fund my travels so I'm very happy to be sat in and driving one again!
I used to use a forum back home called minifinity and they were useful and very handy at helping me out and these were the guys who recommended this place.
Looking forward to meeting fellow mini fanatics on here!

Rich :D

Hi, Luke here. I am building a 75 Leyland at the moment. But it is getting a Round nose flip front and already has a worked 1310 and big brakes. Current drive car is a 2008 Clubman Cooper S, awesome for picking up parts.

Hi Danny here, I,m from the fraser coast area in queensland. I got a couple of minis I am working on, I have a 65 morris, a 67 morris, a 71 clubbie and a 73 clubbie. The 71 is registered and roadworthy the others are projects and parts, you know how it is  . The 71 was going good until a couple of weeks ago when i had a short in the wires to the sender unit and the loom caught fire and destroyed the whole thing, lucky the car didn't burn to the ground. Oh well just another job to do, I will get her back on the road again soon then i can get back at the 67. :D

Hey, tom here. Been craving a mini for years, in homage to british heritage and of course, mr bean! Picked up a 78 clubman on Christmas day, need to fix the rust and the clutch and hopefully, should be roadworthy, all good fun :)

Hi everyone, I'm Matt. Been into minis for a few years now and have been driving my rebuilt 68 deluxe as an everyday driver for a while. Great fun, cheap little rocket. I have also just bought a few fixer uppers including another deluxe, a clubman and a round nose windowless panelvan. I just posted all this in another area but saw this area and thought I should introduce myself.

Hi all,

My name is Nathan and i recently bought a 1967 Mini Deluxe in very original condition. Surprisingly, because it is all original, it runs really well and i currently have it on full rego just because i love driving it whenever i feel like it. body and 99% is in original nick too. It is my first mini although ive been interested for a while. ive joined my local mini club and although i dont have a lot of knowledge im keen to learn to keep my mini running.

looking forward to tapping into all of the knowledge out there...

Cheers

Nath
