Fitted the rubbers looks good. Bit weird as they have always been black but looks good.

Finished pulling the 1412 stroker out.
Found the RH CV boot is rooted- oh well, the 1360 motor will go in easier with 1 driveshaft out (I run H/S unis).

Removed the radiator cause it has no clearance between bottom bracket and the engine pulley and the body
Also discovered the new water pump has a loose bearing/ shaft
Although I am pleased I was able to remove it due to lack of space
Now the hard part will probably be to refit after I have improved the clearance

1360 is bolted back in but it's too hot out there to do more, and it's now beer o'clock anyway.

All 4 engine mount bolts slipped in nice, no crowbars or leverage needed with these (modified QH ones I had).

Hooking everything back up- H/S joints, remote, steady bar- I must be getting old, it's taking too long...
It should run today.

Made up DrMini service tool #10- a C- shaped stand to lift the top arm a bit (hydro cars) to get the swivel hub back on. Should have made one years ago!

Registered the last one. After this, no more.

Watched my mini depart my place on the back of a trailer.....

I know Tony (convertible mini) will look after it whilst in his care and it will come back with all electrical issues sorted out.

Pulled apart the heater and cleaned inside then while it is drying I fitted the right side fuel tank with the correct brackets which arrived this week from Minispares

i have just started building my red bull powered mini.

Well actually yesterday. I moved it.

I needed the space under the back pergola where the Mini has been living to do some spray painting 'cos it's out of the wind.

I'd forgotten how disproportionately big the turning circle is 'cos it took about a 15-point turn to make the 90-degree corner out to the driveway! I'd also forgotten how small it really looks when out in the open.
