blue-deluxe... i`ve been known to drink a whole lotta different things :-)

Tricky,,, well yeah it`s a "Bit" of a pain but i`ll sort something out later,,, the original air-box on the last engine was like that at the start , until i cut the base of it out & turned it around & plastic welded it back in, it then sat down a fair bit lower behind the engine

But if i did the same thing to this one it would, (funny enough) end up just as high,,, design changes make it a problem but anyways--> maybe some air-pods & a different "made-up" air-box of some sort later will fix it,,, but for now it stays there cause i`m a lazy sH!t & i just want to go for a fang :-)

it`s ok for cornering cause i`m looking diagonally past each wheel,,, & on the straights it`s something to protect my head against the wind buffering :-)

Ah, the heart is getting better,,, been doin walkies around the block lately as a pre-cardio re-hab thing & making 20min walks now

the first walk i did, a week or so ago, i could hardly make 8 mins & it felt like i had a 5 game match of A-Grade squash :-(

But, i just had a sneezing fit a min ago, & i can tell you than all my ribs are not quite right yet

:-(

Man i hate broken ribs,,, especially the ones around near the edge of my back-bone :-( trust me when i say "They" are the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(

Sure did. I haven't looked at it as it's all wrapped up in plastic and on a pallet. I'm thinking it should stay that way until it goes home to aus...

Decide if I actually want to put it in a car. Or just build a really REALLY fast little thing like Matt's.

I will afterall have the chopper and the scooter for toy. And a house to perform some reno's on when we get back.

it~s actually pretty easy really

look even a 6 or 7 year old kid can do it :-)

Image

notice buggy to the left of me in that pic, that was my first ever buggy that my dad & i built

& here`s another of me standing next to it before it was finished

Image

I know they`re not the best pics in the world so sorry about that, but i reckon i was actually about 5 or 6 years old in that pic going on the fact that the buggy wasn`t quite finished there,,, the fuel tank for it sits just behind there (yes a van one)

so yes JC,,, you can do it easy-peasy,

well,,, if you wanted to play around in the dirt then that`d be fun

but it certainly won`t be any "real" fun coming 12th or 15th or 20th at any of the hill climbs & street sprints with it

it just won`t handle any good on bitumen,,,, ever!

so,,, see-ing as you`re asking me,,, well my answer is definately NO

make your own & that way you can make it good,,, not just purchase some one elses poor design just because it`s easy

but hey,,, it`s easy & it will be fun

ah ok, that`s an old one that`s been re-vamped

notice the beam-axle front end? bit heavy & more from old speedway design than any current stuff

still would probably be quicker on the black stuff than the Edge thing

it`s all about "power to weight ratio" right???

BUT!!! there are other things as equally important in the "Package" ,,,, things like handling, braking, aero, & cost (amongst others)

my buggy is not the best aero package at all,,,
but power to weight is absolutely awesome
handling is far far better than most of em out there
braking is slightly overkill so is just right
& cost beats them all by miles :-)

sooo,,, aero is the only issue i need to work on now

apart from me needing to learn how to drive fast again :-)

JC when you`re back here, we should hook up with tricky & have a good long talk yeah? we need some solid quality direction for you young man !!! :-)
