Hi folks,
Been working on the brick over the holiday period, just have a minor question. Has anybody replace their heater tap on the heater?. If so what did they use?, I trying to stay original as possible,....., would this item be compatible? as far as I can see it would require the lever mechanism to be re orientated? All thoughts gratefully received. At the moment I have plumbed both hoses direct to the core.

Cheers Pete.

I used one of these this week
Overnight delivery from rare sPares was very good service
Yes I used the old tap as a guide and changed the orientation of the cable connection
I also needed to use the metal guide from the old tap as the dimble was the wrong way around
But once you sit both taps side by side you will work it out

Hi Folks,

Now the tap question is sorted. I have another question that relates to the Heater...., The pedal box ducting that runs from the RH side to the Heater. Where to get some? :? Alternatives to the original waxpaper/Alum/waxpaper? :)

Cheers Pete

Their product is good and their service fast.
I bought 1/2 a metre to do my `matic heater + a spare bit.

It was 83mm, black, I think cost was $30 for 0.5M long, including freight (they posted it from Rocklea branch, in Qld).
