Drill small diameter holes down the middle of the shear bolts and then use "easy-outs" or similar. replace with normal fasteners when re-building.

Drill em out or if your impatient Angle grinder with a cutting disc. When you get it, take it to a bolt place and pick up two with the right length and thread. Easy

Cheers

If your worried about someone stealing your car, you should be worried as mini's are so easy to break into and start. If your worried about that kind of thing, put a cut out switch in with a removable toggle.

Cheers

Get two ordinary bolts and neck them down in a lathe the same as the originals. Use a centre punch to get them out, at least that is what I have done in the past with no problems.

If you are good you can undo them with a hammer and a punch.
If you have a Dremmel you can cut a slot in them and use a screwdriver.

If you cut a slot in them you can fill the slot with araldite after you do them up again. Only you will know what is under the araldite.
