Gave the Deluxe a service, oil change, grease, adjusted the top ball joints, tightened up the steering column to rack bolt cause it was a bit loose, should be OK for a pink slip now

Changed the oil, degreased the engine, replaced the interior light and installed the Quick release nuts on the front grill.

Then sat back and watched the guys give it a shampoo and polish while enjoying a latte'

not a bad day!

Tomorrow off for a spin thru the hills 8)

Back from my spin thru the hills, took a wrong turn and ended up on Archeron Way, what a sensational mistake!!!

Beautiful road (apart from the dirt section) no one on it but me, the wallabies and liar birds...

so that would mean I’m off to wash the dirt from the underside of the car and guards...

A small price to pay for sooooo much fun 8)

Took the mini in for its RWC this morning and it passed with flying colours.
Then went and took it off Special interest and put it on to normal rego.
Because she is now my daily.

Pulled the motor out of the moke last night after army reserves.. Got home about 11pm and thought why not HA! Got working and was held up by some rounded nuts and some weirdly shaped bolts and nuts  Got it all ready for the lift and looked at the time... 5am! Bugger I have school in 3 hours.. Atleast I only have half a day at school today thank god. Got the buyer of the mokes coming to pick them up today..

Well Alice is getting the treatmeant this weekend :) Putting in either the 998 or another 1098 being a Khana car and it's probably going to be put through its paces I'm thinking the 998 incase of the big rev it won't throw a rod or crank like last time.. So the 1210 or whatever it is has to come out. Pull the good ol 295 head off it. Pull off the med ultra light weight flywheel and backing plates. Few other little things off it aswell. Then put them on the 998 ready for a Khana out at bendigo coming up. As some youngun's are going to learn to drive it the 998 is the safer choice. * cough cough* 123 Grosso don't kill my car please :D  so my weekend will be busy! Rego'd and license before Hay

Started refitting the interior, along with new seats. Will do more today and maybe post pic of the seats which I quite like, even though they are grey leather similar to those hideous zip-up mens' shoes of the eighties ;)

Finally finished fitting the yellow minitastic "race" coils on the mini. I have had the backs in for about 6 months but have been putting off doing the front as it's a lot more work.
Took it for a drive and it's nice and stiff but some of the harshness is gone from the old worn out cones. I like them a lot so far. Just have to adjust them to get it nice and low without bottoming out and without breaking anything.

Got a quote on tint. Got BLACK?
