Been looking for a while now for a 1275 without luck.
Not fussed about condition as will be reconditioning.
Any clues?

If you can't find a complete one cheap, keep an eye out for 1275 parts... blocks cranks rods etc.
Also note a Morris 1100S or 1300 auto block (which have different oilways) can be modified to work on a manual box. I'm running one, is now a 1360. :P
see http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1461 for details of mods needed.

I'll swap a std unmolested 1275 for an 1100s/1300 auto. (but i'm in Adelaide!)

Thanks for replies. Have been checking all the usual spots and have already tried Josh, will go and see Meeni soon. Was not aware of his conversion.
Thanks again.

Hiya,

I have a couple of spare 1100s (1275) auto blocks I may be persuaded to part with, although you may want something a bit more complete.

They look pretty unmolested, and have their caps.

cheers! jon

So what happened when you contacted josh, i thought he had a few pallets of 1275 blocks at the factory. i saw at least 20 there about 18 months ago, if he sold them all, i hope there are more on the way, looking for one myself???:-):-):-)

I was there 2 months ago and he had about6 engines, most of them sold.
Stock is getting harder to find overseas and more and more people want the bigger engines here.
