I need to replace a few seals and recall comments about some being a crap fit. Could yall let me know what and where the good rubbers are? Are the kits good or should i buy individually to get the goods. Cheers Anthony.

There are two thicknesses in the rubbers. Sadly i dint know this in a resto job and ended up with the slam-to-shut version from minspares UK. When i bought some more recently I checked with MiniKing [Sydney] and I believe i have the thinner ones. Yet to try. Hope it helps. :D

I've bought from Mini King, Karcraft, and Heritage MG with no problems except the boot seal 2 years ago (original sponge type). 2 I bought were too hard, and it would have taken 3 people to shut the boot..
I got a soft one from Minisport SA that was more like the original and worked fine.
The other places may have the right ones now though.

Here's a pic of the soft original one, and the hard ones that don't fit-

[edit] you can also buy door rubbers by the metre from Grippy Rubber and others. It is the same profile as an XD Falcon..

I got a set of door rubbers from Minisport, just weeks ago. Easy to fit, look good and not heavy on the budget.
