Well it was yesterday... But I finally got around to moving the van into our new shed. I had the front sitting on a pallet with wheels attached and the rear wheels on. We still don't have any grass at home and the terrain isn't great, first step the front of the pallet broke off. So I lifted the front while the mrs pushed, just to have one of the rear wheels fall off. GOD DAMMIT!! So this is where it sat last night after a few cuss words

Got stuck into some polishing work.

Made all the front end chrome bits nice and shiny before I get the car back and put it all on.

I always forget just how well autosol works!!

Took the mini for a longer drive to check out how it runs with the Supercharger fitted
I'm hooked :D
It goes very well except for some fueling issues when stopped at the lights

Off to have the tuning looked at tommorrow

I put a seal kit through my Moke's carby and sorted out the shed some more. Slowly getting there. I'll be making a parts order pretty soon and selling some stuff including carbies etc.

Made a few 20mm & 25mm alloy carby spacers for HS6 or HIF44.

Thanks bud, it was a hard enough effort to get that shed in. And I needed it high enough to get the Nissan in.

The mrs wasn't too bad but I was furious. I made 2 calls too different people that owed me bits and work to do with the mini, in turn making the wheel fall off. I wasn't impressed at all

Removed the leaking oil pressure gauge from the dash, and replaced it with a snazzy new panel and electric gauge. Also put in a volt gauge while I was at it.

The wiring in this car is a mess, will have to look at sorting it soon.

Also changed the rear brake cylinders and brake shoes.

Had the car on the dyno today
Verrry interesting
Much difference between the engine dyno and the chassis dyno
But solved a few issues and the car is now great on the road
Bring on the MRC dyno day

I think I have given a hint

I set out to build a car which had more power but is different to what most people do for increased power. Turbo or big cam.
I think I have achieved my aim
Apart from a minor fuelling issue when stopped at lights, the car is great to drive and brings on a big smile.

The Mini sat contented and warm in the garage while I did a timing belt on the Hilux out in the street...
