1. Looks like it should be at an airport
2. The japanese edition
3. Similar to what we have, plus red
4. Looks like a cheap ripoff of the Crazy Taxi video game cover
5. Can't read it.

What's wrong with what we have now? I think as long as the black n white photo is updated at whatever events, that'd be enough, if at all.

Not knocking your work or anything Gorilla man. Did you come up with all of them?

LOL! Crazy Taxi rip-off! Yeah, I can see that.

The second one... Does it look Japanese just because of the red/black?

I'm only playing around with the logo because I feel that it's a little plain. If I want a sticker of the ausmini.com logo on my car, I don't really want the one we have now.

I'm just experimenting.

BTW, the third one IS different to the one we have now. Subtle differences in graphic design make all the difference. It's a completely different tone of voice.

Yeah, well, you all suck! LOL! :D JK

Hey, I'm just playing around. I just feel that the exsiting one doesn't feel very... professional. It's not the photo that bugs me as such, its the text.

jill200sx may know what I'm talking about... Back me up Jill! :)

I think you caught the wront tone with that one, and yes I do know what you mean. So will back ya up on how it can be done.

I like the font on the fourth But I think just aus (larger though) with maybe a mini roof, you know windows and that on top of the us then the a can symbolise (going to hate myself for this one  ) a roundie.

Just my 2 cents
Cheers

I guess if ausmini sold merchandise it'd be a different situation.. But isn't ausmini an informal forum/group so I don't feel as though it needs a professional tone :?

First and foremost, I love this forum, and I have nothing against the people here. I'm just playing around with possibilities of a new logo, mainly for my own personal interest, and I don't mean to fully bag the existing logo (if that's the impression people are getting).

Fruity, it doesn't have to have a professional tone, I just think that the overall appearance of the logo could do with more thought.

There was a poll a while back whether the stickers should read "www.ausmini.com" or just "ausmini.com". I said in that thread that I thought the stickers were a little plain to stick on your car, and I thought that there might be others (which there seemed to be from that thread) that were interested.

And these are just initial ideas, and from this feedback, I can refine the ideas to something that may surprise people and make them think, 'actually that is better'.

The impression I get is that people want to stick to the 'classic' feel (as opposed to a more 'ricer'/modern style), which is cool and I can work with that.

Minimark, I was avoiding using an image of a Mini in the logo as A) it is very cliche and 'kinda been done before' and B) I don't want to discriminate between Roundies/Clubmans/Mokes.

Please remember that I'm just playing around and not creating a huge uproar or revolution.

:D
