I am trying to find someone in either Sydney or Newcastle who can supply and fit a MK 1 shell with a CAMS spec roll cage. Will need to be full cage with additional roof supports, door intrusion bars, diagonal rear supports suitable for 'National' level competition for the Australian Rally Championships.

Who does the Nb, Nc cars?

PS - I have had Bond Bars in my previous ARC cars but have not been all that happy with the service so looking for any other options.

Bond roll bars is the first company that comes to mind, but that may not be the answer as to who does the nb, nc cages.

Edit, you snuck that PS in there, didn't you?

Yeah I did!
Will certainly give them a call, but last time the cage didn't meet the regs of the category and had to be modified and re-certified for use.

Location: Sydney - strangely, I am glad of the sight of hills!!
Craig Wildridge did my brother's sports sedan. I was in the back getting a nice close up view of all the fabulous welds yesterday. He is fully up to date with current requirements and helps you to get it certified. Plus he is a fellow racer.

Wildridge Fabrications Mobile 0419432733. He is out at Narellan.

If you want the best! But be prepared to wait, I know at least 3 others ahead of you. This guy is having the poorly built cage in his IPRA Monaro replaced by Craig for one.

Craig will probably be out at Eastern Creek this weekend racing his IPRA Escort. It will be a good idea to get out there and have a chat with him.

I will be there all weekend with my brother - look for the blue soarer with the orange nose and you will be able to see first hand the quality of the work.

Greig Malaure (Mini Classic) also put me on to Dave Attard out at Orchard Hills to get a couple of things welded. He might still be able to do full cages, but it will probably be up to you to get it certified. He did Greig's and Dave Wheatly's last cars, so has experience with Minis. Call Greig for the details.

cheers
michael
