I took the cover of the S and cleaned the windows, checked the oil, water and tyres all ready for the run tomorrow. :)
Hope this rain stops as per the forecast.

Bled the brakes and adjusted the hilos..
the whole left of the car seemed to be 1cm higher compared to the right.

Fitted new mags and tires.. Found out the car had spacers on the front and no rubber bump stops :/

Managed to get the engine off the trolley and into project Moke. Both subframes fitted and now on its new JBW wheels.

Went for a drive with the MCCNSW and ended up at Wilton.
Great day, great roads, thanks MCC

Decided to put my steel wheels back on and wear out the brand new Falken tyres instead of my good yoko's
all on , torqued up , hub caps on and twenty bucks of fuel ,time to go for a nice easy drive . Northern rd , Bents basin , Wallacia , Silverdale , The Oaks
and the Coal road back to Camden .Stop at the traffic lights before the long bridge on the Camden bypass, (for those that don't know , called the long bridge because it is 1klm long from end to end ), One lane eachway and no breakdown lane. Off we go when the lights change ,merge into the single lane , hang on ,WHAT IS THAT SOUND?,steering starts to feel strange, pulling left, Don,t tell me its a wheel bearing  can't stop here , have to get to the other end ,more pulling, more noise, more worry , get to the other end , pull over and have a look see. Not happy , but not as bad as I thought
Flat tyre , hope I haven't wrecked the tyre

Fixed up the front apron, a little different, but I like it. Old one was bent like anything!

Finished off the bum and sanded & smoothed & primed some more panels, getting there, slowly. Found that a previous owner had a cooper S brake drum on one rear hub but not on the other, sigh. Finished off the boot weld with body deadener and will paint next opportunity. As far as I'm aware, we're pretty much rust free now? Yay!

Managed to arc out the terminals of the battery with my jack. Man what a way to kill a battery, kinda fortunate that it was due to be replaced anyway and that me and Hetty didn't go KABLOOIE :D . So now I have a new battery, new battery cover, new carpet in the boot and a new vinyl wrap for the jack and handle.... Whilst I was in there I installed a new rear reverse light under the rear bumper and wired it up. I finally put the horn back in and it even works. Next week I'm going to rewire the headlights to make them a tad brighter 8)

Finally got my front end back together. New bushes, wheel bearings, bump stops, ball joints, adj. lower arms, adj. tie rods, tie rod ends and shock absorbers.

Made sure to grind in the ball joints with valve paste first, what an excellent idea!

Is that horn up the right way? I just put mine on but up the other way. I would have thought having it that way would make it less horn, more gurgle which is why I turned it over... Or am I wrong?

Made my interior light work when you open the doors and then made it turn off when you close them. :)
