i got my licence in early december like 2.5 yrs ago or so.. the only time i drove the mini to school was on the last day, owned it for 2 years before, (everyone at school new about it) by the time the half day was over, it was up on the foot path.. back 2 wheels..

2nd incident, at a mates 18th also... left his house to go to the shop, (only up the road, walked with a mate) got back and again, both wheels up on the gutter... 1 cracket flare, 1 bent rear bumper.. and a few stress cracks in the paint...

hmm somtimes all you can do is laugh..

My idiot "mates" at school picked up my Mini by the rear bumper and turned it so it was wedged between two trees. The only problem was they did not pick up the front end and the front wheels stayed in the same position on the ground as they turned the car. So my old type crook lock (which lock the clutch pedal to the steering wheel) bent on the bottom of the dash. It took me an hour of bashing and kicking to get the slightly bent lock straight enought to take off.

My other incident was more recnt - vandals jumping on the roof of the van leaving large dents and me with a $1000 damage bill.

Now I have an alarm and immobiliser.

I just park up on the footpath on purpose and then blame others for moving the car. Only way to get good parking in some suburbs...

Chris you should have given me a call. I would have come and got your car for you and taken it home. Thats only up the road from me.

it's difficult... technically an alarm should be the end of it, since a broken window beats a solex lock, but since no one listens to them, i guess an immobiliser/kill switch would be the go...

yer mine has a fuel pump switch that is stealth located so they can turn the car on drive 100 metres and stop!, i tried it out and yer thats how far u get (on my car not someone elses)

Are you saying that these breaker-in-erers are coloured?
Or that you are not Caucasian?

I'm saying...... have em all stand in a line, count em, take out the caucasians, and count em again. See if your number actually changed.
