so the car is all finished, Tried starting it a few times, NOTHING! silly me!
I never realised that injection pumps are gravity fed! lol doh!

so im not getting fuel pressure not sure where to mount it yet & trying to avoid running 2 pumps with a swirl pot. my sensor is not picking up a reading either.

other then that everything works, it kicks but no start yet!, getting good oil pressure.

I have it booked in for a dyno next Thursday/Friday so hopefully sus that out before then, otherwise ill get my dyno guy to check it out.

he does loads of aftermarket injection stuff to old fords & older cars so knows a fair bit. he reckons thats gonna be easy, so i might even do it with him in the work shop so i know what i did wrong. if i can fix it my self first.

so hopefully have it running Friday for a weekend drive :)

once it's N/A & i have sussed all the niggles, im going to bolt the supercharger on :) BBBOOOOOOOSTTTTTTTTT! :D

ill try get some photo's next week of it sitting pretty with it's bonnet of ready! he is a tall guy so i thought best to leave it off incase.

Excellent!! Which Sprintex model is it? 150? How did you choose the pulley diameter?

Did you get it from the local supplier (Bullet) or directly from Perth?

I would be very keen to know how much they can be bought for and what the best way to get them is. I really don't like the idea of paying for a middle man when freight from Perth should be easy.

Can you tell from my list of questions that I really want one of these!?

M

got a nice update today from BEN maker of the sc12 kit.

he is in the middle of making a new kit for this sprintex blower, that he will be selling.

so check out this thread & pm him if you want one. :)

the manifold should be completed in about 3 weeks or so.

sorry lads been busy lately with work.

I have the car running now :) it's poping & back firing a bit when i rev it.

it had some exhaust leaks & a manifold leak, so i had to fix all them up.

the sensor cracked & was moving about, hence the pops & bark fires, I have a spare & tomorrow im going to bolt it back up, need a few bolts & spacers.

it's N/A but i need to get it tuned?, I'm not sure how well it will run off the bat with the maps supplied but will find out tomorrow, once i sort this sensor issue out.

got to re line the alternator & add a spacer it's all small crap but things i need to drive around for, hopefully tomorrow.

but geez the throttle body is loud lol.. holy crap!

if i get time tomorrow ill get a video of her running ;)

i really want to have this at the muster this year N/A first fingers crossed.

ps how crap are these new engine mounts! what a POS lining them up!
